In the midst of our excitement for Albania, we are starting to think about the things we are going to miss here. We LOVE the Farmer's Market at the Fayetteville downtown square. We hit the market, ate breakfast at Village Inn and are about to head to Camp War Eagle to pick up Jillian.

We have our tickets!
The tickets have been purchased. We are heading to Albania on two different days (to help the Elbasanians acclimate to such a massive invasion of Shackelfords. On August 19-20, Robbie, Bethany and I will be heading that way. On August 21-22, Tanja, Shelby and Jillian (first flight!) will come and join us. Can't wait!

Sunday afternoon, we dropped Jillian off for her first Summer Camp experience. Camp War Eagle is an amazing Christian camp in the Ozarks that Shelby, Bethany and Robbie have all enjoyed in the past. Now it's Jillian's turn!

JJ's B-day #8!!
Jillian had a fun family birthday with a couple of friends as she turned a great 8. One of her best friends, Oliver Bemis, came over. Caleb Wilson, who Bethany does day-care for, was also there. (he's quite fond of Jillian :-) Shelby & Robbie took Jillian and Oliver swimming and we then had a party at home when they returned.

It is a cool day in May, 2013 and I have just begun this new "theshackfamily.com" web-site. I will slowly be adding content as well as porting over our old theshackfamily.com stuff, including my blogs during Robbie's illness and the videos of him walking, etc. So, hang on, content is coming!
